Question
Hello...
I'm currently running Twiki version r1.91 and would like to upgrade to latest version. Would it be possible for me to transfer my current pages to 4.0.5 without having to redo it all?
My current Twiki projects are quite sensitive to my company so it's very important for me to be double sure of this before I go ahead and do it.
Hope to hear from you soon
Kind regards
- Sune Jensen
PS: I have checked the documentation and on the site but I've found no answer to my question.

If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
Yes, TWiki remains upward compatible, this is in the
TWikiMission and is very high on my priority list. TWiki 4 has an updated file format, topic of earlier TWiki versions are updated automatically on first topic save.
I am not sure what TWiki r1.91 is, there is no such thing. TWiki releases prior to TWiki 4.0 have a date based release name, such as TWiki 01-Sep-2004. See release version in
TWiki.WebHome of your installation. If you have a very old version you could upgrade incrementally using the upgrade guide of each release, or upgrade directly to the latest version.

Thank you very much for your answer. The version I'm currently using is this:
TWiki r1.91 - 13 Jun 2005 - 14:00. I just took the 'r1.91' as being the release version number : ).
I'll upgrade my server now that I know it's backward compatible.
Cheers
