Did you by any chance download the tgz instead of the zip?

Nope.I downloaded Zip files only. Is it possible can you send me the Twiki4.1.1.zip through Email attachment.

We got a number of reports like this lately. Possible causes:

  • Caching issue on browser - try to clear the cache
  • Caching issue on proxy server - try to download from different network, such as from home
  • We had some server reconfiguration recently - we are monitoring the server if there is anything related to the download issues

I also received same error when I downloaded from IE7.0, in fact none of the downloads from twiki site with IE7.0 are not working. But they are working fine if I download it from Opera or Firefox

I am also unable to download a valid 4.1.2 upgrade zip; I've tried IE, Mozilla, and Opera to no avail.

I downloaded the upgrade-4.1.2.zip today from work using Internet Explorer. And I could not open it. Then I downloaded it with Firefox and it worked fine. It seems someone has been messing up the twiki.org server once again.

mod_deflate was turned off on twiki.org around march 10, so I'm guessing that this is now fixed again, at the expense of bandwidth
