Question

Hi, i´m trying to reset the password of a TWiki user. When I type the username and press "Reset password" it says:

Password reset failed. Can´t get an email address for.... (required for password reset).

When I am editing the user topic and add the sentence "Set Email = mymail@example.com" it doesn´t work.

How can i fix this problem? Thnks to all!

If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

It's probably looking for the value in the Email field of the form on the user's page, not a TWikiVariable. Try maintain the form field instead.
