Question

Are there any rules for beta testers? Whether/where/how to report bugs? Or is beta testing restricted to developers?

I'm about to evaluate TWiki as a collaboration tool. I guess it would be a good idea to start with Dakar because quite a couple of things have changed.

It's only beta, but alas - I think I am sufficiently familiar with perl to debug stuff and perhaps even suggest patches.

Environment

TWiki version: DakarRelease
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: cygwin and SUSE 9.3
Web server: Apache 1.3, Apache 2
Perl version: 5.8.7
Client OS: Any
Web Browser: Any
Categories: Contributing time

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

You are very welcome; Beta testing is open to anyone, at your own risk. Bugs should be reported in the Bugs web. Questions are best addressed to IRC, but please try and solve your problems using documentation (which is under test just as much as the code!)
