How about a pop-up calendar for filling in date fields?

Anton, you mean like JSCalendarContrib?

At the moment, I'm using thee pull-down lists - dat, month, year; So anything is an improvement.
What I'm trying to build is a calendar using the calendar plugin in, where the users have a form that makes sure they enter things - the date, the item - correctly!
The link to the demo at JSCalendarContrib doesn't work.

Why don't you use EditTablePlugin for getting the dates (it comes with the JS-Calendar) and a multiple="on" search on that table in another topic to produce the list needed by the CalendarPlugin. Pretty effective. -- Guess this discussion should be elsewhere. What about the Sandbox doing a sample application.

We have been trying to install the PopUpCalculator on our intranet, but we are not able to find "templates/twiki.pattern.tmpl". We are using Natskin. We also tried to edit TWiki.tmpl & also made the changes on "TWiki/WebTopBar" and ran the script, but we are unable to get any signs of activiation. Can you please help us on this?? (We are running the latest release of TWiki)

Did you have a look at PopUpCalculatorAddOn resp. the template implementation for the CommentPlugin done by MartinCleaver which allows you to simply at %COMMENT{type=scientificCalculator noform=on}% somewhere in your Wiki to get
calc
Click the calc link above to see the calculator appear even here on twiki.org. No need to edit any skin templates.
