Question

Cron is listed in the system requirements, and not as an optional item.

If installing on a host that doesn't provide access to cron, will TWiki still work?

And if so, what functionality will not be available?

TWiki still works. You will not get e-mail notification of changes (WebNotify), and no automated update of the WebStatistics topics. See details at TWikiSiteTools.
