Question

Hi Folks,

I'm using: TWiki-4.1.1, Mon, 05 Feb 2007, build 12770, Plugin API version 1.11

I have specified in configure:

• {RCS}{dirPermission} = 0775
• {RCS}{filePermission} = 664

I have created a new web (NewWeb), initially without any topics.

I expected the directory ./data/NewWeb to have permission: drwxrwxr-x and files contained with in permission: -rw-rw-r--.

However they have permission drwxr-xr-x and -rw-r--r-- respectivly.

Can you dispell my misunderstanding, and advise how I may be able to achieve my desired behavior.

Something I forgot to add: the http server is operating in a NIS environment.

This may have been the cause of the odd behavior.
