Question
Since upgrading from the 01-Sep-2004 release to 4.2.0, we are having trouble with the
EditTablePlugin.
We have LDAP authentication working for editing and some viewing. I have a page with ALLOWTOPICVIEW and ALLOWTOPICCHANGE set. It correctly forces authentication before viewing (so viewauth appears to work - which I thought was the main precondition for
EditTablePlugin to work) and allows a smaller group to edit the page itself.
However, click the EDIT button at the bottom of the table and the Access check fails and 'Action "change": denied' is displayed.
I can login as the internal admin and then I can use the
EditTablePlugin.
We see the same error page if starting from an unauthenticated page - just the error, no prompt to log in.
Where should I be looking?

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
I have an update to this - I had not checked what I thought I was checking before.
The failure only affects pages with ALLOWTOPICCHANGE or ALLOWTOPICVIEW set.
If neither are set then your are asked to authenticate and can edit the table.

Reran configure - to enable a plugin - and now it works. Odd.
