Question

I just upgraded our TWiki from Beijing to Cairo. Got authentication to work and etc.. The instructions says to download all the plugins again since the upgrade script does not do that. I have downloaded the following plugins: CalendarPlugin.zip BeautifierPlugin.zip SpellCheckerPlugin.zip MsOfficeAttachmentsAsHTMLPlugin.zip ActionTrackerPlugin.zip used unzip command on all zipped files: unzip &lt.plugin>.zip

and got the following error:

 Archive: ActionTrackerPlugin.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
note: ActionTrackerPlugin.zip may be a plain executable, not an archive
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of ActionTrackerPlugin.zip or
ActionTrackerPlugin.zip.zip, and cannot find ActionTrackerPlugin.zip.ZIP, period.

I just can believe that all of these zip files are broken... I downloaded these onto my laptop and tried to use winzip to unzip these file and still got an error: "Cannot open file: It does not appear to be a valid archive. If you downloaded this file, try downloading the file again."

Does anyone have any idea? Help is greatly appreciated.

-Thanks in advance Sandra

I'm wondering why somebody would download and install Cairo today where Dakar is ready to rumble.

I have seen similar reports once in a while, but I am not sure why zip file download fails for some users. What browser / version & platform / versions are you using? Could you try to see if downloading with another browser is OK?

This is related to ViewfileMolestAttachmentsOnTWikiDotOrg and TgzFilesGzipedTwice.
