Question

Hi All,

1. Is it possible to keep the site from allowing any attachments from anyone but the administrator? Or not allowing anyone to do attachments?

2. Does this impact wysiwyg functionality- including cut & paste or table use?

I don't need attachments for the site but wysiwyg & tables are helpful.

I know how to limit attachment size & have done so.

I saw some traffic about disabling directly accessable attachments so that people wouldn't be able to download attachments but that does not seem related.

You could remove the attach buttons from the page. See PatternSkinCustomization how to do this in a custom template.
