Question
Hi,
Iam a beginner with TWiki and just intalled the latest version of TWiki. So far, it is a relatively 'clean' install - i.e. the only changes have been to create new pages. However, I and have been unable to get the default search (i.e. the box provided in the default webs) to return any results when the scope is 'text'. It returns the correct results when the scope is 'topic'. When the scope is 'all' it only returns the 'topic' results.
'Configure' only shows 1 warning relating to Locales on Windows ('Use Locale is not enabled)
Have tried to find any errors relating to this in any of the logs (Apave & TWiki), but so far found nothing.
any suggestions of what to try / where to look appreciated.
TWiki version = Wed, 08 Feb 2006 build 8740.

Thank you, this did resolve the problem - I had to specifically set the path to the fgrep & egrep within the freg settings - e.g. '{RCS}{EgrepCmd} is now: /cygdrive/e/cygwin/bin/egrep %CS{|-i}% %DET{|-l}% -H -- %TOKEN|U% %FILES|F%
where e:/cygwin/bin is the location of my install of cygwin.
