Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
What is the name of your group?
As the help text says it has to end in in "..Group", as in NewGroup.
Feel free to reopen if the group name is actually OK.

I have tried to make a groups with different names like
TestGroup,
CustomerGroup.
In Twiki groups, I can see only
TWikiAdminGroup.

I can create users, topics, webs etc. I have created the group using create group on
TWikiGroups page.
I have tried reinstalling TWiki at other location but the problem still persists.

In addition to the topic name restriction mentioned by Steffen, groups are only found by the Main.TWikiGroups magic if they contain a list of members which should look like:
* Set GROUP = Main.HemangiBhavsar, ...
Check your TestGroup etc topics whether the source looks like that - or whether it starts with tab character(s) instead of 3*n spaces. If you have tabs, look at your Main.TWikiGroupTemplate topic, from which topics are created by the form in TWikiGroups. Maybe you have a "inherited" TWikiGroupTemplate from a previous TWiki version? If so, just replace every tab by three spaces in the template, and - sorry - in all the group topics you've created so far.

Thanks for the help. The problem still persist.
In the source, 3*n spaces are used and not the tab character.
This is how my TWikiGroupTemplate looks like:
---+!!
* Member list:
* Set GROUP = Main.HemangiBhavsar, Main.Others...
* Persons/group who can change the list:
* Set ALLOWTOPICCHANGE =
__Related topics:__ TWikiUsers, TWikiGroups, TWiki06x01.TWikiAccessControl
This is how my TestGroup looks like:
---+ Test Group
* Member list:
* Set GROUP = Main.SweetyBhavsar
* Persons/group who can change the list:
* Set ALLOWTOPICCHANGE = TestGroup
* Set ALLOWTOPICRENAME = TestGroup
__Related topics:__ TWikiUsers, TWikiGroups, TWiki06x01.TWikiAccessControl
I have installed the current version of TWiki and not updated from the previous version.

This happened to me on my Mac. I noticed that .../data/warn* was giving me an error message about a file not being found when I tried to display groups. It turns out TWiki was unable to find egrep (I'd ignored warnings about that in my configure setup). When I configured in the path to egrep and fgrep, the problem went away.

I had this problem on
FreeBSD (which doesn't have distinct fgrep and egrep binaries). I fixed it by using /usr/bin/grep -E (essentially synonymous with egrep) and /usr/bin/grep -F . Hope this saves someone time.
