Question
I've just installed TWiki and finally got rid of all the errors in configure. There're two warnings but they don't look serious. Now I am able to read pages, but pretty much nothing else. Can't edit a page, don't get prompted to log in, and can't register. Have I got a file protection problem?
Any attempt to edit a page on the Main or TWiki web gives (when saving):
Access Denied
Attention
Access check on {page name} failed. Action "change": access not allowed on web.
Any attempt to edit a page on the Sandbox or to register a user gives (when saving):
CGI Timeout
The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing. The server has deleted the process.
Also, there are a lot of 403 (forbidden) errors in the log, mostly for images, javascript and CSS. For example:
21:25:14 56.72.1.126 GET /twiki/pub/TWiki/PatternSkin/gradient_yellow.gif 403
21:25:14 56.72.1.126 GET /twiki/pub/TWiki/TWikiLogos/T-logo-80x15.gif 403
21:25:14 56.72.1.126 GET /twiki/pub/TWiki/PatternSkin/background_button.gif 403
21:25:14 56.72.1.126 GET /twiki/pub/TWiki/PatternSkin/background_input.gif 403
21:25:14 56.72.1.126 GET /twiki/pub/TWiki/PatternSkin/background_submit.gif 403
21:25:14 56.72.1.126 GET /twiki/pub/Main/WebPreferences/favicon.ico 403
21:30:29 56.72.1.126 POST /twiki/bin/save.pl 502
TWiki never prompts for a login. I've tried many different settings in the Security section of configure but it makes no difference.
The output of configure is attached.

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
I am not an expert on TWiki on IIS but I would think those that are would like to see your error log entries
I assume your IIS server has an error log. The messages in that are essential to work out what is wrong
