CannotVerbatimHeadTag < Support

Question

Oooohhhh. This was weird.

I tried to put <verbatim><HEAD></verbatim> and <verbatim><BODY></verbatim> into a page. The results were... unexpected.

The words HEAD and BODY disappeared as did the surrounding < and > characters. All of the formatting - newlines, sppaces, TWiki bullets... disappeared as well. I got one big musshedtogether paragraph.

Bug, feature? Smells like a bug, although bordercase. Franz showed a workaround with <pre> tags.
