Idea: Create a TwitterPlugin

Twitter is popular, also used at the workplace. It would be nice to have a Twitter plugin for TWiki. Initial functionality I can imagine:

1. Link @jimmy_wales type text automagically to the canonical http://twitter.com/jimmy_wales address, which will redirect to https://twitter.com/#!/jimmy_wales
2. Handle a %TWITTERPROFILE{}% variable that shows a Twitter profile widget, supporting parameters as described in https://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets/widget_profile
3. Handle a %TWITTERSEARCH{}% variable that shows a Twitter search widget, supporting parameters as described in https://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets/widget_search

Anyone interested in implementing this plugin? This is a good first time project to get acquainted with TWiki programming.
