Thanks Crawford for externalizing this and for sharing it with the
TWikiCommunity. A fast database is useful for some TWiki extensions.
I have some small feedback for doc improvements. Typically it can be done very efficiently directly on the extension topic, or described here in the dev topic. But I am not sure what to do with your extensions since you do not seem to like this. Updating SVN or filing a bug report for small doc improvements is not practical for the person providing feedback, and smells like webmaster approach. Any suggestion for a middle ground?

There is something confusing going on here, maybe it is just me but...
In the docs you state: "This Contrib installs a derivative of the Samba TDB (tiny database). This is a small, lightweight, reasonably fast database coded in C, that also happens to be very useable from Perl. The TDB shipped with this Contrib is a hybrid of tdb-1.0.6 and the tdb used by samba-3.0.21c. This was required because the developers of these packages have not kept them synchronised."
This indicates that this package contains the C code for libtdb as there are some mismatches of the perl and C versions of TDB_File and tdb out there in FOSS land. But you have TDB_File as a dependency, and that won't install without tdb (which requires manual hacking on my RH system due to inconsistencies as you stated). And your zip does not contain any lib/tdb at all? And the pm in the zip states Rev: 10247, not the required 10616? And I'm unable to open the tgz version?
I'm inclined to think I'm seriously confused here so any help is appreciated(or perhaps you uploaded the wrong archives?)
Thanks

lib/tdb
Ole, oops sorry, uploaded the package again with the right stuff in. In future, please raise questions like yours in Support web. I very rarely look in here.
