Copy Microsoft Office Table to/from TWiki Table Add-On

Overview

Use this program to copy a table from an office program (or a tabs separated file) to TWiki with some layout functions, or to copy it back from TWiki for simple and fast editing.

To install, download CopyTwiki.zip (attached to this topic), unzip the Windows executable CopyTwiki.exe, and copy the executable to a folder of choice. Run the program to convert tables.

Usage Version 0.5

• The Cells to be copied have to be selected.
• Moving rows or columns: select a row or column at the gray part and move it to the desired location.

Source Code

The Delphi 4 source code is attached, CopyTwikiSource.zip.

The program is written in Delphi 4, so for the time being it works only on Windows, but with wine it will run on Linux. And maybe it is compilable with Lazarus (open source cross-platform Delphi clone) or Kylix on Linux http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org.

Add-On Installation Instructions

• Download the CopyTwiki.zip from the Add-on page.
• Unzip CopyTwiki.zip to a folder of choice. Content:

Note: The following instructions are for the administrator who installs the add-on on the server where TWiki is running. As a user you can safely ignore these steps:

• For an automated installation, run the configure script and follow "Find More Extensions" in the in the Extensions section.

• Or, follow these manual installation steps:
  • Download the ZIP file from the Plugins home (see below).
  • Unzip CopyMsOfficeTableAddOn.zip in your twiki installation directory. Content:
