Action Tracker Input
Here is how we solved our problem of Action Tracker input: a TWiki page with java script. We developped it only for MS Internet Explorer.
I have attached to this page:
- MakeAction.txt which is the main content of the MakeAction page
- scripts needed by the page: headers.js and overlib_mini.js
The page itself is made available when editing any TWiki page by changing the edit.tmpl file. I have also attached our variation.
From the user's point of view, it is easy. While editing a page, he can have the MakeAction page pop-up like the FormattingRules page. The page requests input of who the action is for, when it is due, and the text of the action. Then pressing a button places the formatted action in the clipboard. The user then only has to paste the text in the edited page.

That's great, Alain! If you can make it work for other browsers as well, I'll happily incoporate it in the distribution.
