RWP_TWikiMarkupListAndTest2#Test
I'm clearly seeing some anomalies. They don't really bother me, or not in the sense that I want to complain about them. I just (thought I) wanted to make my "twiki to HTML converter" (in Ruby) work as much as possible like TWiki. Now that I see some of these anomalies, I feel free to reconsider each of them and decide if I want my (t)wiki like thing to work the same or not. Some of the anomalies:
- Nesting of what I'll tentatively call inline markup is not consistent.

- A single line end (\n) doesn't end a paragraph, but it does end the consideration of some markup. For example, markup with *s across a single line end prevents it from being bolded, but the text is combined into one paragraph. I will consider how I want to handle both of these (that is, whether if I continue to have a single line end continue a paragraph, and, if I do, whether to have that single line break "disrupt" the bold markup). There is something in me that wants to allow nesting arbitrarily deep, so that, for (a bad) example, I could make an entire page bold by putting an asterisk in front of the first word on the page and at the end of the last word on the page. Maybe that wouldn't be wiki like?
- Oops, another markup to consider--emoticons
