Past Problems

Original PC Clone

Flaky operation, added a large capacitor on the 12 volt rail (inside the PS case, IIRC) and solved the problem.

ATX Switch Does not Control Power

Power Sensing

Even some non ATX power supplies sense current or voltage and shut down if they sense a problem — Zenith system would not power up with power to floppy connected wrong (difficult to see the connector without removing the floppy).
