Question
I have added a select box to a form that uses a search pattern. This works fine with the standard editor, but fails with WYSIWYG editor.
Running Twiki 4.1.2
Perl 5.8.6, indigoperl apache 2.0.44 on Windows XP
I have created a form based on the PatternSearchCookbook. The form simply supplies.
The form is called TestForm and contains:
| *Name* | *Type* | *Size* | *Values* | *Tooltip message* | *Attributes* |
| | Category | select | 1|%SEARCH{" *\s*.*" topic="CategoryList" type="regex" multiple="on" casesensitive="on" nosummary="on" nosearch="on" noheader="on" nototal="on" separator="," format="$pattern(.* \*\s*([^\n]*).*)"}%| Select a category||
This form was added to
WebTopicEditTemplate and works just fine under the usual Twiki editor.
Under the Wysiwyg editor, the select box give me a message:
Twiki installation errorIncorrect format of searchformat template (missing sections?) There should be 4 %SPLIT% tags)

Answer
If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.
The WYSIWYG editor is known to have issues with
TWikiVariables. At this time I can only recomment to use the WYSIWYG editor only for plain text.
