Question
Hello there: Well, it took me ages to figure out how to post this question (so I really don't have a great track record here). I notice that there are five set heading types that come with the default skin. I really need to change how those heading types look. Can I do that? If so, how?
I am NOT technical and have been wading in the csscookbook stuff for an hour now. thank you.

or you can modify the colors.css file that is found in the /pub/TWiki/PatternSkin/

So there's no way to just go into the wiki through a form or something and change things?
And ... OK, I'm sure that this sounds dumb. But do I cut and paste this file into another file, name it mystyle.css, and then put it ... where?
thank you.

AH. I see that you included the file. Thank you FranzJosef. So do I just overwrite it at some location? If so, where? Thank you.

Well, it depends on what level you want to overwrite the basic skin settings. Shall your customizations:
- be valid for the complete side: put the USERSTYLEURL into your local Main.TWikiPreferences;
- shall it be valid for one Web only: put it into the webs NameOfWeb.WebPreferences;
- shall it be valid for you alone: put it into your local home topic (Main.CatMikkelsen);
- shall it be valid for one topic only (as done here): put the setting into that topic.
You may attach your .css file to any topic in any web you like, you just have to specify the complete path to file in the USERSTYLEURL setting (use %PUBURL%/NameOfWeb/NameOfTopic/NameOfCSS.css).
You're right about to ask for a shiny interface for customizing some basic settings (e.g. the color and the size of the headings) but that would be a
FeatureRequest and not very wikied.

Or you can simply
write in red by enclosing text in
%RED%
...
%ENDCOLOR%
.
This works also for headings
See colors in
TWikiPreferences
