Question

Each time we create a new topic on any of our TWiki webs, the text "Test.TestTopic5" appears at the top for no reason we can discern. It may be related (my boss thinks) to the TopicVars plugin because TopicVars seem to be generating a lot of apache error_log entreis (to which, I have no acces, yet). I can't find anything about this in the answered questions.

Try disabling that plugin - if the problem goes away, please raise it on the Plugins page for the plugin.

Check also your view.tmpl and twiki.tmpl template files (or skin if activated) if you find text before and after "Test.TestTopic5".
