Question

When i edit a topic do a preview, all looks well. But when i do a save the cahned i did are not taken over. No error message, script error, etc. I have to do a 'back' on the browser and re-save the topic.

This happens not always, but very often.

Any idea ?

Answer

Have a look at ViewAfterSaveCachesOldPage - perhaps you can run through the stepslisted there, and post your details (including any use of proxy caches)? This would help to characterise this problem, and also includes workarounds for you to try when you have this problem. I'd like to get this fixed fairly soon.

Irony note: I just had this caching problem when saving this page! Probably due to a proxy cache on SourceForge...
