Software error:

BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at /www/am/m/mhintz/twiki/bin/view line 27.

where do I have to start to look for the reason?

I am not allow to make chown on the server all scripts works fine under own: mhintz grp: user. All programms are installed e f grep, ls rcs perl etc so does any one can help?

Answer

I had the same issue and message. In my case it was due to the fact that I had left off an inverted comma (") from the end of one of my strings in Wiki.Cfg. When running 'testenv' There were errors down the bottom, the first line of these errors, we pointing directly after the problem. I hope this helps.
