SID-02029: Set TWiki wide search order to sort by reverse time

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 6.0.0 Perl version: 5.8.8
Category: CategorySearch Server OS: Red Hat 5.8 Last update: 3 years ago

We'd like to set the sort order of the search tool to sort output so newest topics are at top. We'd like to make this default

I realize this can be done via the enhanced search option, but this is what my clients have asked for.

Discussion and Answer

I presume you mean the regular WebSearch? Modify the TWiki.WebSearch in your installation. Docs on VarSEARCH.

Confirmed by e-mail that Paul got this working with a custom SEARCH, so closing this question.
