Question
I've installed the
ProjectPlannerPlugin (2.040) according to the instructions on the page, but when I enable it on through configure, all pages seem to stop running with a message: Can't use string ("PROJECTPLANNERPLUGIN_EXAMPLE") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /usr/local/www/twiki/lib/TWiki/Prefs.pm line 218. The string appears to be in ProjectPlannerPlugin.pm, and I've tried the test referred to in the documentation page (perl ProjectPlannerPlugin.pm) which gives no errors. Unchecking the enable parameter in configure lets TWiki work again. I'm not a Perl person, so suggestions would be appreciated. I'm running TWiki 4.01

This is a known issue with the
ProjectPlannerPlugin, as stated in
ProjectPlannerPluginDev. You could post a comment here, and possibly contact the author.

Thank you for answering this so quickly, Peter. I didn't realise that there was "average user" information in the developer area. There appears to be all kinds of good information there, and I'll make sure I check there first, next time. Thanks!
