Question

I just created a login (IreneDurham) and entered my email as idurham@sbcglobalPLEASENOSPAM.net. It created an email address idurham@sbcglobalSTOPSPAMPLEASENOSPAM.net. This address does not work. Even this question is adding an additional STOPSPAM to my email address.

Answer

Don't understand the question. The added STOPSPAM is a feature, not a bug, to prevent mail crawlers from getting your mail-address so that they may spam you.

As Franz indicates, this is by design and prevents your real email address from being picked over automatically.
