Question

Hi all,

after setting "AllowLoginName" in the configuration, on the registration site is no password field longer, so that new users can not define their own passwords.

Has anyone an idea, where my mistake is?

Thanks in advance, JT

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

The {AllowLoginName} setting assumes that you use an external authentication such as LDAP. Entering a password in the registration form is only needed if you have TWiki internal authentication.

Reopen this question if you have a more specific question.
