Question

Hello, I'm working on CommentPlugin#Defining_custom_templates.

My new template is working great, but for Main.TWikiAdminGroup members only

Any user who is a member of the TWikiAdminGroup can use the custom template.

Any user who is not a member of the admin group gets the following error:

No such template def TMPL:DEF{PROMPT:templatename}

Can you think of why that would be ? Is it perhaps a bug in the CommentPlugin ?

about my setup

The only non-standard thing I can think of about my site is that in my LocalSite.cfg I have renamed the TWiki web to System, as follows:

$TWiki::cfg{SystemWebName} = 'System';

Thanks!

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x01
TWiki plugins: CommentPlugin
Server OS: SuSe 9
Web server: Apache
Perl version: 5.8.6
Client OS: windoze xp
Web Browser: IE, firefox, chrome
Categories: Plugins

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

I assume you also renamed the TWiki web to System. Does the System web have access restrictions? Check also the CommentPlugin template's INCLUDEs for TWiki web prefix.
