Question

we are planning on releasing our customer user guide via a secure apache connection to twiki. we'd like to make seperate copies of the wiki available to each customer via his own login, the hope being that customers will add to the docs and we can roll these back into our version where appropriate. at the moment we have 2 webs set up on our twiki install, the internal wiki (for our eyes only) and the customer wiki. what is the best way to manage all this, on wiki with lots of webs (1 per customer) with only the appropriate web visible to that customer? is this even doable or will i need to maintain multiple twiki installs ?

thx in advance.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x00
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: FC4
Web server: Apache/2.0.54
Perl version: 5.8.6
Client OS: mac os 10.4.5
Web Browser: camino

What you're envisioning is very doable with TWiki webs by proper use of TWiki04.TWikiAccessControl and the SITEMAPLIST and NOSEARCHALL settings in WebPreferences. You should not need separate installations.
