Question

Folks --

This is related to this question.

On a page with very little content, so that the Left Bar is longer than the body (like here, the Bottom Bar appears below the body, not below the longer of the Left Bar or the body.

This seems to be a PatternSkin thing -- it happens both here on TWiki.org, and on the site that I am setting up.

  • On both Firefox Mac and Firefox Win the lefthand portion of the bottom bar is drawn behind the left bar.
  • On Safari (Mac): no problem. The bottom bar appears below both the body and the left bar.
  • On MSIE (Win): Like Safari, no problem.

I've tried both deleting the cache and forcing a refresh with Command-Shift-R. Neither fixes the problem.

Any ideas?

I can confirm this on Firefox on Windows (Mac 2.0.0.4 works fine). I am sure this worked before, so can it be related to a recent update?

This was a bug in Firefox Mac 2.0.0.8. Now fixed in Firefox 2.0.0.9.

On Windows FF 2.0.0.9 it works fine as well.
