Question
Desperate for some help! Installed TWiki on MS 2003 server in about 20 minutes. Spent the next three struggling with
KupuContrib.
The box has Internet access, but TWiki the find extensions link won't connect. No prob - manual instructions are provided.
For the life of me, I could not understand how to tell TWiki to look for the zip or gz in a local directory, as opposed to the URL. Any clarification here would be helpful.
Instead, I downloaded, unzipped and placed files in their appropriate locations in the main TWiki directory. Ran the installer.pl file...
Under the ########### displays:
Checking dependency on Wysiwyg plugin...
Fetching the archive for TWiki::Contirib::KupuContrib.
Seems to hang for ~30 seconds and then closes the command window. If it flashes an error, it happens so quickly I can't read it. I also tried running the installer with the zip or gz in the same directory - no luck.
I am sure I am making a newb mistake - what is it?!
Also, is this the plugin to enable the Wysiwyg edit funtionality I see at TWiki.org? Once installed properly, will that option become available?
Finally, may be a dumb question, but since this functionality is featured on the TWiki.org page, why is it not included by default when Twiki is installed - such an attractive feature for novice users. I may learn from your answers that it is and was just not obvious to me!
Carefully followed instructions from Windows Install Guide

The KupuContrib is no longer supported. Please try to install the
TinyMCEPlugin.
