Question

Concerning User registration for version 4.0.3.

We dont use a local .htpasswd file but use a seperate kerberos authentication. After registration I only see some of the information entered. The Email and LoginName fields for example are blank. For my setup LoginName is not the same the Twiki name so I would like to see this.

I have set {AntiSpam}{HideUserDetails} off

I need to have the email address available for Plugins such as ActionTracker.

Where does the email address get stored if one does not use a local .htpasswd and how may I see the other hidden fields?

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x00x03
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Linux RH7.3
Web server: Apache 1.3
Perl version: 5.008
Client OS: Windows, Linux
Web Browser: IE, Mozilla, Firefox
Categories: Registration

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

This is the result of a known problem that crept into 4.0.3 and was fixed in 4.0.4 (or maybe the hotfix 1?). In 4.0.3 the email is only stored in the user topic if there is a form attached to the NewUserTemplate.

I am running 4.0.4 and there is a form attached to the NewUserTemplate. No user emails are seen in the user topic though
