Question

I tried to upload some attactments with a Chinese name but when I click the button "Upload File", the description of the error is "Either you did not specify a file name, or the file you are trying to upload "" has no content. You may not upload an empty file. ". "Please go back in your browser and check again. "

What should I do to fix this error?

Sorry, closing this after more than 30 days...

This could be caused by {UploadFilter} and {NameFilter} in configure which filters chars > 128. Also, see and add your comment to Bugs:Item3652

This is probably related to Bugs:Item3652, which I have a patch for on 4.1.2 (may not work with your TWiki version) - not yet checked in, let me know if you'd like to test it though. Another recent TWiki change stripped out all non-alphabetic characters.

Workaround - include some English letters or digit as well as the main Chinese name, e.g. just suffix the names with "1,", "2", etc.
