Question

How do I reparent an existing topic? I've been hunting info on this for weeks but to no avail. Any pointers will be highly appreciated.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease01Feb2003
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Linux
Web server: Apache 2.0.x
Perl version: 5.8.0
Client OS:  
Web Browser:

Aside: I would swear wink that this has been asked and answered somewhere (on TWiki.org) in the last month or so, anyway:

Follow the link on the bottom of each page to more, and look around. There is a mechanism to reparent a page. IIR/UC, the normal reparenting procedure supported there will add an additional parent. If you want to replace existing parent(s) you first have to delete them.

(Again, IIRC), to delete the existing parents (all of them, I don't know of a way you can be selective), first reparent the topic to the WebHome topic of the current web.

In the course of reparenting, you are returned to the edit page and must do the preview / save bit.
