Sorry if the question is too basic: how is it possible to modify ?

Or maybe there is already another way to solve the problem we have:

This instruction works perfectly in our template in secondary pages (while there are parents) but in WebHome there are not parents and then it seems to send a breaking line instruction to show "emptiness". The problem is that the extra line is causing problems in our template (it works but it doesn't look good).

Answer

It looks like you need the SettingParentTopicToNone patch or upgrade to the latest TWikiBetaRelease.
