Question

When there's the GNUSkin installed in a TWiki, is there any solution to let a couple of users, who do not like the GNUSkin, see all topics with the default TWiki skin, e.g. using a varibale on my homepage, a list of TWikiUsers in the Preferences or something like that?

Answer

  • Since SKIN is a preference variable, users can set it in their topics. Just have them add a line like this to their user topic:
    • Set SKIN =

I think that will set the SKIN variable to empty, which will activate the default skin. Note that the user will need to be logged in for that to take effect; you may also need to enable the $doRememberRemoteUser variable in TWiki.cfg if the view script is non-authenticated.
