Question

I have a question regarding enabling the authencication of users (i.e) for Windows XP. When I click on "Edit" on a page it should pop up the username and password. Can I follow the standard installation guide which has a topic "Enabling User Authentication" for Windows XP. Also I would like to add Session Plugin , would I have to do that after adding the authentication of users. Thanks Pavithra

Environment

Answer

Twiki does not support this out of the box - the authentication to Windows (like to activedirectory or nt domains) needs to either be added as a plugin or by adding the authentication to Apache or IIS and having it pass this to Twiki. Perform a search in the support web and you will find many examples of people asking about this. It really depends on the environment in which you live. See CompanyAndTWikiWebAuthentication as just an example.
