Question

I have created a generic topic (eg. Topic1), and I want to create a new Template based on this topic, and have it appear in the available Templates when users create a new topic (ie. when a new topic is created, and they pick this new template to use, it will create the new topic as a mirror image of the Topic 1 topic)

How do I go about creating this template and adding it to the list of available templates?

I am using Jumpbox for Twiki.

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

I think I discovered the answer by accident. Let me know if it works:

For the topic you want to use as a template, be sure that the word template is in the topic name.

At least on my TWiki, that article showed up automatically in the drop down menu.
