Question

How are the web statistics compiled for the top contributors? Does the script siimply count all the instances in the log200808.txt where it finds a save or upload action for each user?

I ran the script for a specific month and one of my users does not show up even though I know he added many new topics to my TWiki site.

Thanks for the help!

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

Stats are calculated per web. Top contributors are based on number of saves and uploads. Only the top contributors are shown in the stats.

Two questions: 1) How do you define top contributors? Top 15, top 20?

2) Do you know of any reason why a user would be omitted in the stats when they have the third most new topics created?

1) Is defined by the {Stats}{TopContrib} configure setting.

2) No idea why an active user would be omitted. If you feel this is a bug gather the details and file a bug report. Link in sidebar.

I have added Bugs:Item5986. Sorry this took so long. Thanks.
