Question
I've tried downloading two plugins (
TWiki:Plugins.XpTrackerPlugin,
TWiki:Plugins.EasyTimelinePlugin) and one skin that fail at around 55k in firefox, ie and a download manager. The message from the dl manager was:
"HTTP Server does not appear to support byte ranges"
If there's nothing that can be done on the server side, would someone be willing to email me a TWiki 4 compatible version of the plugins?
thx

I sent you the two Plugins.
We had similar reports of .zip and .tgz download issues, and we have not yet identified the cause.

Sorry, no luck: Mails sent to your gmail and redstonemountain address bounced back with an "Illegal Attachment" error message.

I just made a change to the apache configuration to not compress archive files when delivered by the viewfile script.
Could anyone please check if this fixes the issue, assuming identical environment as before when the problem occured?
