Question

I have installed twiki on /etc/httpd/twiki. i have configured it. Now i want to create some subfolders. like projects, careers. My question where shall i create thiese directories. under /twiki or in the /var/www/html. please give mea clear idea

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x01x02
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: REDHAT EL V$
Web server: Apache
Perl version: 5.08
Client OS: windowsxp,

Look in configure, under General Path Settings/DataDir to find out where your installation is storing data.

However, I suspect what you want is separate webs, in which case go to TWiki.ManagingWebs in your system and create them. It will place the files where it needs to and take care of any other side effects.
