Question

I've 3 WIKI web within my installation and I find that users don't know that there are 3 different webspaces and mess up with the document structure. I'm about to combine them as 1 webspace. Now the question: 1> Is there an automated script to pick ALL document and move to another web without spoiling the links? 2> When I hit the CREATE NEW TOPIC, can I have a drop down that will add the page as a SUB PAGE Of another automatically?

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

You can simply move all .txt and .txt,v files from one web to another web, web-internal links and parent-child relationships will be retained. You will lose however cross-web links, such as Otherweb.FooBar links. You can search and fix those instances. If you install the GlobalReplacePlugin you can do a global search & replace to fix all links.
