Question

I'm using TWiki to create a support forum / knowledge base for a particular application. In creating the support forum, I tried using the DiscussionForumAddOn, but it just doesn't behave in the way I'd like it to. After some thought, what I realized is that this very support forum would very much fit the bill. My question is, is this support forum available as a plugin or add-on? Can someone help me (or point me to documentation) to create a duplicate of this forum within my own TWiki? One requirement is that folks be able to create and reply to discussion topics without having to edit pages, because this might be a bit too complex for some of them (which might rule out using the ThreadedDiscussionPlugin, at least as I understand its function). Thanks very much and keep up the good work! (and apologies if the answer is obvious... I'm a newbie here...).

Sergio.

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.

You can duplicate the support application in this web. Simply copy the supporting topics; use view raw to see the raw topic text. I created EngineRoom that lists the topics needed. I think these are important topics, but I might have missed one or two.
