Question
Sometimes the browser will load the blank page when trying to bring up an attachment. It's also happens to the HTTP pages. F5 helps, but not all the time - it doesn't work on the attachments.
This problem is quite annoying. The blank page is loaded 3-4 times out of the 10 requests.
To diagnose this issue, I have used the HTTPwatch. Its looks like prior to the IE6 loading a blank page, the HTTP request for some add reason is not showing up in HTTPwatch. If the HTTPWatch can't capture the request, it means it was never sent/built by IE6. But why? This problem very inconsistent. I have tried IE7 and
FireFox. No "blank pages" there.
I know, some people will suggest using IE7, because Microsoft no longer supports IE6. It's not the point - previous versions of twiki worked flawlessly with IE6. I never had this problem before. The current version of Twiki (4.1.2), seems to be unfriendly with IE6.
The similar problem has been already reported on twiki.org:
See this link This makes me think, that I'm not alone with this issue.
The strangest thing is that the very same issue happens to me with
http://twiki.org.

Just to answer my own question - this issue goes away when I install Twiki 4.2 version. I have also tested this problem with 4.05 and it wasn't happening. At this point I believe combination of twiki 4.1 and IE 6.0 is the only where "Blank" pages are happening. As a final word, if you on IE6 - don't use twiki 4.1 or you will be in trouble...
