Ask a Support Question
Before you ask a question, please check the following:
Check TWiki configuration:
- If you're running TWiki 4.0 or later:
- Run
configure from your browser using something like http://example.com/twiki/bin/configure and fix any errors and warnings.
- If you're running a previous version, test your installation with
testenv script:
-
testenv was created specifically to help you with installing TWiki. testenv checks for the most common installation problems and reports them in a user-friendly way.
-
testenv should be located in your cgi-bin directory, run it from your browser using something like http://your.website/cgi-bin/testenv

Questions already answered:
- AnsweredQuestions lists questions that are already answered.
(Use WebSearch or Google:site:twiki.org+myproblem to find answers to your question that are already written - faster than waiting for a new answer!)
- Search for answered questions by category:
- If you have an enhancement request or a brainstorming idea, you can contribute that in the Codev, the web for TWiki developers.

How to ask a new question:
- Each question is a TWiki topic - please ask a new question in a new topic, rather than adding to a current one where it can get lost.
- Please read the SupportGuidelines now so that you know what information to include, helping you get a quick and useful answer - filling in this form is not enough for installation problems
- You need username and password to edit pages - please create your own account in TWikiRegistration. You also can post anonymously as
TWikiGuest, password is guest (case sensitive!).
- In case you find the answer by yourself after submitting a question: We would appreciate if you could document this here in your question and set the Support Status to "Answered". That way you help making the Support web self-organized and more useful.
