Question
Hello!
I have a problem that has already been reported quite a while ago, but nevertheless is still there:
The problem is that every time I log in and try to change a page and to save it for the first time it takes ages for the page to get saved. It seems that the system is running into some kind of timeout and then tries to save the page in another way. After a long time of waiting the system again asks me to give my username and password (although I have already been authenticated when I logged in). I don't know if this is normal or it has something to do with the issue.
I have already checked the apache logs, there is nothing related to that. I really don't know where to look next. The configure script tells me everything is working fine (except for the mail functionality, but this doesn't matter as I don't intend to use it).
Please find my Twiki configuration attached to this page.
I am deeply grateful for any kind of help!

If you answer a question - or have a question you asked answered by someone - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status is in a drop-down list below the edit box.
I just noticed that there IS something in the logs. I have also installed backuppc on the machine Twiki is running on and it seems that the browser tried to use the credentials of the backuppc session for the save-function the last time I tried. The log looks like this:
[Tue Jun 26 09:44:21 2007] [error] [client 134.147.14.158] user backuppc not found: /twiki/bin/save/MediNet/LehreLinks, referer:
http://mtbp/twiki/bin/edit/MediNet/LehreLinks?t=1182843778
I hope this helps in some kind of way.
Anyway, it seems that this line doesn't refer to the problem as it occours independently from that. It also happens when I did not log into backuppc before.

Also, it doesn't just happen when you edit the page for the first time. Uploads are causing the same problem, when you make them for the first time.
