Question

I would like to submit content to be added to a Topic from a form embedded in another topic.

My goal is to record the completion of training by TWiki users after they read a page or view a presentation of a SlideShow plugin. The "Roster" page will be record the users wiki name and the date completed.

Does any one have any ideas to help me out.

Sounds like a job for CommentPlugin.

I agree with LynnwoodBrown. Specifically, since you want the link to appear on the slideshow page but update a separate Roster page, take a look at the return template.
