Tiny detail on doc: You can enclose nop'ed settings in pre tags instead of verbatim tags. That way they settings are escaped and the nop is not rendered.

nice plugin. however i get the text: Topic BluesTalk . { New Discuss Topic | } showing in the topics

I think users will most probably miss the "Discuss" button and will be confused by the jump to an independent page. Have a look at the kind of tab interface at TalkTest which is much bolder on its discussing feature.
